We save bees

Bees play an important role in our ecosystem. 80 % of domestic cultivated and wild plants, and thus about one third of our fruit and vegetables, depend on pollination by bees.

Fruit as well as our apples are particularly dependent on the work of bees.

Just in time for the beginning of spring we have many small, busy bees in our garden. There are two organic beehives in the garden, when fully operational there will be about 40,000 bees in the hive.

With our two beehives we would like to make a valuable contribution to the preservation of the bees. We give our bees a home and of course we are happy if we can also taste a delicious honey.

Furthermore we support the initiative "we for bees" and are happy about the cooperation.
